This Story Makes Me Want to Throw Up

Recently in the local media, there was "breaking news" about a 22 year-old woman in a small town nearby where I live.  A coworker had called the police because this woman had come to work one day looking like she had lost a severe amount of weight.  The police went to check on her and found she had given birth in the last couple of days to twin girls, at home,  who she killed (details haven't been released) and put in the trunk of her car.  When questioned by police, she stated that she had never intended for the babies to live after they were born.

Fast forward to today when she made her initial court appearance and pleaded NOT GUILTY!  This is after admitting that she killed her newborns purposely.

I was at my desk when I read this latest development today.  I truly thought I was going to throw up.  I'm not going to go into all of the ways this makes me sick.  I'm sure you all know how it makes me feel.

And because of this I believe the world is just not fair.  I truly don't understand. And again, I want to throw up.

  1. I want to throw up too...it seems like lately all of the "never should be allowed to get pregnant or be around a baby people" are either pregnant or giving birth or now I read here..killing their newborns..that's so messed up...I don't know what else to say...

  2. OMG that's beyond horrible. Really sick, I'll never understand people who are capable of these things.

  3. That just kills me. So, so horrible.

In our local news, they just arrested a woman who was living here under an assumed name who, 10 years ago at 18, had given birth to a child in another state, killed him (the news report "caused him to be dead" what the hell does that mean?) and then left him in the woods. I was so sick to my stomach.

    The world is beyond unfair.

  4. Wow, that is just inexcusable. I'm guessing she is going to plead insanity or some crap like that. I can't even watch the news anymore when stuff like that comes on, it just makes me so mad.

On an unrelated note, thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. I've been thinking about you lately as well and I hope you have been doing well=) I know stories like this deffiently make us bitter and wonder "Seriously, why them and not us?" But I know our turns will come soon, we just have to stay strong (hugs). Keeping you in my thoughts and sending you lots of sticky babydust and hoping we get our miracles soon.

  5. Ugh, that is disgusting! And I totally agree, unfortunately. Live isn't fair. This world isn't fair, and I wish we could understand why. Hopefully someday we will figure out and understand why things happen the way they do.

  6. Such stories make me sick as well. I'll never understand why people who don't love their babies are allowed to have them and, much less people who will abuse and kill them. There's just no excuse... No explanation..... The universe is seriously messed up!

  7. Hi JJ,

  8. I can't think of the words to express how hideous that it,
